Heart of Bow

Heart of Bow, London, E3 2RL

A bright and airy development, with beautiful landscaped communal gardens and excellent transport links.

When London’s 2012 Olympic bid was accepted, finding property available to buy in Bow became very hard to do. Chiefly because property investors had seen the inevitable positive impact that the Olympics would have on the area and snapped up property as quickly as it became available.

In response to this increased demand for property a series of competing developments were constructed, the Heart of Bow was one such development.

Lovell Homes took what had been a rather run-down council-owned development and re-energised it. Starting almost from scratch they created 279 apartments, one, two and three bedrooms, for let or to buy, each with its own balcony or terrace. The inclusion of landscaped communal gardens added a touch of the countryside to the busy city lives of its residents and the fantastic transport links and close proximity to Canary Wharf, E14, ensured that the development was an instant success.

People looking to buy or rent in East London often work either in the City or in Canary Wharf’s bustling business district, as such the short walk to both Bow Road overground station, which serves the Hammersmith & City, Circle and District Lines, and Bow Church DLR station, makes access to Bank, Canary Wharf, or the west of London a breeze. For drivers, the A12 is just around the corner, affording quick travel to the rest of Greater London.

But it is the range of outdoor past-times and iconic London hangouts nearby that entice first-time property owners to the Heart of Bow. Victoria Park, to the North, is one the largest open spaces in London. Playing host to various events throughout the year and a hot spot for sunbathers all summer long.

The River Lea in the East, snakes North to South and just beyond it you’ll find the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, complete with the Olympic Park Stadium (which will soon play host to West Ham Utd), Aquatics centre, walking trails and bike paths.
